MBABANE – Tourism, culture, and entertainment are set to take center stage as the Limkokwing University Tourism Class prepares to host the KaGogo Beverage Festival on Friday, June 5, 2026, at IF’s Lounge in Mbabane.
Held under the theme “Rediscover Eswatini, Re-imagining Our Future Tourism,” the festival aims to promote local tourism while creating a platform for entertainment lovers to enjoy a vibrant social experience.
The event is expected to bring together young people, tourism enthusiasts, and music fans for an evening filled with performances, networking, and cultural appreciation. Organisers say the festival is designed to showcase the potential of tourism-driven events in contributing to Eswatini’s economy and strengthening the country’s hospitality sector.
The entertainment line-up features some of the country’s popular acts, including Cool Drop, Mistosoul, Obession, Tairro, and Dune 13, while Bayanda will serve as the master of ceremonies for the evening.
Artist Cool Drop has already generated excitement ahead of the event, taking to social media to encourage fans to attend. In a post shared on his Instagram story, he wrote: “Let us meet tomorrow at IF’s Lounge Mbabane,” accompanied by fire emojis, signalling anticipation for his performance.
The festival will begin at 6 PM and continue until late. Tickets have been priced at E30 for general admission and E60 for VIP access, making the event accessible to a wide audience.
Beyond entertainment, the KaGogo Beverage Festival seeks to highlight the importance of domestic tourism and encourage young people to explore and appreciate Eswatini’s attractions, culture, and hospitality offerings. Organisers believe events of this nature can play a significant role in positioning the country as a preferred tourism destination while creating opportunities for local businesses and creatives.
With a blend of music, beverages, and tourism-focused engagement, the KaGogo Beverage Festival is expected to provide attendees with an unforgettable experience while reinforcing the message of rediscovering and reimagining Eswatini’s tourism future.
The event is strictly for individuals aged 18 years and above, and organisers have reserved the right of admission.
