A high-level delegation from Eswatini has visited Ghana to benchmark the country’s land administration system and exchange knowledge on natural resource management.
The delegation was led by Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development, Nonhlanhla Dlamini, and Chairperson of the Land Management Board, Prince Ngangabani, who is also the outgoing Speaker of Parliament. They were accompanied by five senior government officials.
Speaking after the engagement, Ghana’s Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, said it was a distinct privilege to host the Eswatini delegation for a bilateral knowledge exchange meeting.
Buah said discussions focused on Ghana’s progressive reforms and sustainable management practices aimed at safeguarding land and natural resources for current and future generations.
He added that the Eswatini delegation showed keen interest in Ghana’s land administration system, providing an opportunity for officials to share insights into the country’s approach and the progress achieved so far.
The visit forms part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and promote the sharing of best practices in land governance and natural resource management between the two countries.
