The Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) took part in the African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year 2026 event held in Accra, Ghana.
At the gathering, which brought together African leaders, policymakers, and investors, LTDC presented Lesotho’s tourism investment opportunities, highlighting the Kingdom as a destination for high-altitude adventure, eco-tourism, and heritage experiences. The delegation detailed bankable projects across lodge developments, protected areas, adventure tourism, and cultural heritage sites, positioning tourism as a key driver for economic growth and shared prosperity.
Working with the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), the team also outlined the Kingdom’s improving investment climate, policy reforms, and investor-friendly frameworks aimed at attracting sustainable and responsible investment.
The engagement demonstrated Lesotho’s focus on strengthening governance, unlocking investment, and promoting intra-African partnerships, in line with broader African trade objectives. Officials expressed confidence that tourism will continue to drive job creation, community empowerment, and inclusive growth across the Kingdom.
