Matsapha – Twenty-seven police officers who completed a Diploma in Police Science were formally handed their certificates during a luncheon hosted by the Royal Eswatini Police Service on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
The ceremony was held at the Matsapha Police Academy, where the National Commissioner of Police, Mr Manoma Vusie Masango, presented the certificates to the graduates. The officers were part of a group that graduated from the University of Eswatini in October 2025.
Addressing the gathering, Masango congratulated the officers for completing what he described as a demanding academic programme. He commended their sacrifices, dedication and resilience throughout their studies.
He told the graduates that the future of policing in Eswatini will not be shaped by slogans alone but by educated, disciplined and visionary officers.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Sergeant Patricia Simelane conveyed appreciation to the leadership of the Royal Eswatini Police Service for recognising the importance of professional development within the institution. She also thanked colleagues who remained on duty and maintained operations while the officers attended classes.
Simelane further acknowledged the University of Eswatini for its commitment to providing knowledge, guidance and academic support to the officers during the course of their studies.
