Matsapha – The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Honourable Manqoba Khumalo, today visited Artic Fox, a growing textile manufacturer based in Matsapha, as part of government engagements with key players in the manufacturing sector.
He was accompanied by Principal Secretary Ambassador Melusi Masuku, officials from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority Chief Executive Officer Sibane Mngomezulu, and members of the EIPA team.
Artic Fox operates under the leadership of directors Mr Nanyuan Su and Ms Tracy Sun. The company relocated to its newly renovated factory in August last year and currently employs about 1,500 people, providing jobs to residents from surrounding communities.
During the visit, officials were briefed on the company’s expansion plans, including the establishment of a new laundry facility for the textile industry expected to open in less than three months. The facility is projected to create an additional 40 jobs and support textile production within the country.
