Mbabane – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) is searching for Simanga Simelane of Malindza, wanted for allegedly contravening the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Act of 2018.
Police say Simelane reportedly raped a 12-year-old girl from Mbangweni between May 2025 and December 2025. Investigations indicate the suspect first approached the girl while she was walking in Mbangweni and asked for her contact details, which she refused. He later allegedly met her in Mbabane Town while she was returning from school and lured her with promises of buying birthday gifts.
The case was officially reported to authorities on January 10, 2026. Since the report, Simelane is believed to have gone into hiding.
