The new signed artist was spotted after multiple live performances where he demonstrated not only a healthy crowd connection but also discipline and growth potential.
The fact that JimiBoi also showed willingness to evolve, learn, and consistently deliver, both on stage and behind the scenes made the partnership with Mabonwa Abulawe possible.
Attesting to this, JimiBoi SD said he welcomes the signing and that it is a fulfillment of a long-held dream. He is eager to deliver on his artistic vision.
“I have waited for this moment,” he said. “This platform allows me to give the world what’s in my heart, while representing home.”
The artist said with the backing of the creative team, he believes that Eswatini’s sound goes beyond borders while staying true to his roots. JimiBoi SD is already working on his debut single under the label. Mabonwa Abulawe will be offering polished production, strategic marketing, and sound development.
His work will be closely collaborative with Young Zesh and producer Lesia Musiq. Young Zesh said this signing is part of a broader mission of building a sustainable music ecosystem.
