Riyadh – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy has reported that Honourable Minister HRH Prince Lonkhokhela has returned to the Kingdom of Eswatini following an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he attended the Future Minerals Forum.
The forum brought together global leaders in mining and energy, and took place in Saudi Arabia earlier this month. During the visit, the Eswatini delegation also held engagements with the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the national oil company ARAMCO.
According to the ministry, the meetings centred on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. Key areas of discussion included energy security, infrastructure development, strategic petroleum reserves, and opportunities for technical collaboration and investment between the two countries.
The engagements involved senior officials from both governments and reflected a shared commitment to building long term partnerships aimed at supporting sustainable growth, regional trade and resilience in energy supply.
