Mbabane – Two men wanted for murder and multiple stock theft cases were fatally wounded on January 20, 2026, following a high-speed chase with the Royal Eswatini Police Service.
The suspects, aged 36 and 37 from the Ngculwini area, were driving a Toyota Crystal Lite when police acted on intelligence indicating the vehicle was carrying carcasses of allegedly stolen goats. At Mathangeni, the men ignored police warnings to stop and sped away.
They abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, prompting another pursuit. Despite repeated orders to surrender, the two suspects did not comply and were fatally wounded during the chase.
