Mbabane – Eswatini TV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Premier League of Eswatini in a move set to expand live coverage of domestic football across the Kingdom.
The agreement, concluded in Eswatini, will see the national broadcaster televise eight MTN Premier League Yello Sunday derby matches live for the remainder of the current season. The broadcasts will be produced in partnership with the Premier League of Eswatini.
The deal brings together Eswatini TV and the league at a time when interest in local football continues to grow, particularly around derby fixtures that attract strong support from communities across the country. Supporters who are unable to attend matches at stadiums will now have access to some of the most competitive encounters through live television coverage.
Under the arrangement, the selected derby matches will be aired until the end of the league season, offering increased visibility for clubs, players and sponsors involved in the MTN Premier League.
