Tata Motors has rolled out TataMove, a comprehensive aftersales plan aimed at giving South African drivers confidence beyond the showroom. The announcement comes a year after the brand returned to South Africa following more than a decade away.

Steven Terblans, General Manager for Aftersales at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles South Africa, said TataMove is a commitment to accompany customers throughout their vehicle ownership journey. “We don’t just hand over keys, we walk the full journey with our customers. Every kilometre. Every milestone,” he said.

TataMove includes a five-year or 125 000 kilometre warranty, five-year corrosion protection, 24/7 roadside assistance, and a 72-hour mobility solution to minimise disruptions. Customers also benefit from nationwide service centre coverage, OEM-trained technicians, accredited repair facilities, advanced diagnostic equipment, Xpress & Quick Service options, and a dedicated customer care hotline.

Terblans explained that TataMove was designed with real-life challenges in mind, addressing concerns over cost, reliability and safety. He said the plan is particularly useful for first-time buyers, young professionals and families seeking affordable mobility solutions.
