Mbabane – A 59-year old is foreign national has been arrested and charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after shooting another with a pellet gun.
Bany Amadou of the Elangeni region appeared in Lobamba Circuit Court on Monday, facing a charge that allegedly occurred on Sunday in the area. The exact cause of the offence has yet to be disclosed.

But according to the charge sheet, Amadou wrongfully, unlawfully and intentionally shot one Machawe Dlamini on the right foot with the pellet gun with intent to injure him.
Amadou was remanded in custody and is expected to make another court appearance on 16 January pending the proceedings. According to the court records, Amadou had not yet asked for bail.
