Mbabane — The delivery of the prize car for the reigning Miss Eswatini has been postponed once more, extending a delay that has raised public concern.
Oukitel Eswatini Managing Director Mduduzi Shongwe said the vehicle has not yet been handed over. He is scheduled to travel to South Africa tomorrow to complete clearance and registration processes required before the car can be officially delivered.
Shongwe has requested that the handover be postponed to February 16, 2026, citing ongoing administrative procedures. The repeated delays have left the winner and pageant supporters waiting for a prize initially expected months ago, sparking questions over accountability and sponsorship commitments.
Organisers and stakeholders have not confirmed whether the February date will be final, leaving the public watching closely as the saga continues.
