MBABANE – Campus Connect Eswatini is gearing up for an exciting event that will not only showcase the kingdom’s rising entertainment talent but also champion a meaningful social cause.
This event is set for December 5, 2025, at The Lounge Bar and Restaurant (formerly Mega Lounge), the event promises a vibrant fusion of music, networking and community impact.
This year’s edition brings together over 15 local DJs, making it one of the biggest student-driven entertainment platforms in the country. The initiative is led by event organisers Sihle Mankonko and K Master, who emphasise that the focus is on empowering Eswatini’s young creatives.
“We hoped to have a South African headliner, but budget limitations shifted our focus. Ultimately, our primary aim is to uplift young local talent and put them in the spotlight,” K Master shared.
The entertainment roster includes a dynamic mix of established and emerging acts such as Zulu DJ, S’gila, Lady Zee, DJ Casta, Lil Ed, King Ksie, Dumsai Da Producer, DJ Ziyat, Lungsta, DJ De Drum DJ, and Djery. The night will also feature engaging MCs, who will keep the energy high with short skits and crowd interactions.
Beyond entertainment, Campus Connect Eswatini carries a strong social impact mission. Organiser K Master says the initiative aims to raise funds to buy toiletries for disadvantaged high school learners and self-sponsored university students.
“Our goal is to provide essential hygiene products to students who struggle to access basic necessities. This event is about building a sense of community and social responsibility among young people,” he explained.
He added that economic challenges experienced in recent years have increased the need to support vulnerable students, making the event’s mission even more critical.
The event is expected to attract over 1,000 attendees, including university students from Limkokwing University, UNESWA, Creative Technology, and young professionals. Various ticket categories, including student, non-student and VIP options, are available. Students will also stand a chance to win cash prizes during the event.
Campus Connect Eswatini is evolving into a flagship youth event that blends fun with purpose. Beyond music and entertainment, it aims to create a platform where young people can connect, collaborate, and contribute to the wellbeing of their peers.
With a strong lineup, clear mission and growing support, the 2025 edition is shaping up to be a landmark moment for Eswatini’s youth and creative scene.
