Mbabane – Tebenguni Nxumalo has emerged as the grand prize winner in Eswatini Bank’s ongoing Swipe n Win promotion, securing an all-expenses-paid trip to Johannesburg for the Karen White concert, which took place on 30 November at The Palace.
The announcement was made in Mbabane during the second draw of the bank’s summer promotion, which rewards customers who use selected Eswatini Bank accounts for digital and point-of-sale transactions. Nxumalo’s prize included concert tickets, travel arrangements and accommodation for the weekend.
During the handover, an emotional Nxumalo expressed gratitude to the bank and paid tribute to her Financial Wellness Advisor, thanking him for guiding her since she first opened her account. She spoke fondly of his patience and support, noting that she often relied on him whenever she faced challenges.
Organisers encouraged her to make the most of the experience, joking that if she had any prior plans, she should simply say, “Karen White is calling.” They also reminded her to continue using her Baby Card while travelling.
The promotion covers several account types, including Lwati, Low-cost, Umlamuli, Sisekelo, Individual Current and Private Banking accounts. Eligible transactions include point-of-sale payments, online purchases and international swipes, while cash withdrawals do not count.
Eswatini Bank says the final prize will be two double tickets to Babyface’s live concert in December, along with accommodation, as the summer promotion continues to reward loyal card users across the country.
