Mbabane – Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has unveiled the 2025 Rumion, introducing refreshed styling, upgraded safety features, and added convenience for families and commuters. The model combines space, comfort, and efficiency in an updated package.

The exterior now features a 120mm higher roof, 22mm wider pillars, and a 40mm longer rear overhang, enhancing both the look and practicality. A redesigned rear bumper, new rear combination lamps, and standard roof-end and roof-side spoilers complement the bold black mesh grille.

Safety improvements include standard side and curtain airbags, three headrests in the third row, and a full three-point second-row centre seatbelt.

Inside, USB-C charging ports add convenience. The SX grade now has a Type-C port in the second row, while the TX grade offers Type-C ports in both the second and third rows.

The 1.5-litre K15B four-cylinder engine remains, delivering 77kW and 138Nm, with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is 6.2 l/100km, with CO₂ emissions of 146–147g/km, and top speeds of 175 km/h (manual) and 170 km/h (automatic).

Colour options include Mystic Pearl White, Premier Liquid Silver, Azure Blue, Seal Grey Metallic, Autumn Blaze Red, Cedar Brown, and Shadow Black Pearl. Pricing starts at E307 900 for the 1.5 S MT and reaches E403 600 for the 1.5 TX AT.

Toyota customers in Eswatini can purchase the 2025 Rumion at NTT Toyota Mbabane and NTT Toyota Manzini. All models come with a four-service/60 000 km plan, annual service intervals of 12 months or 15 000km, and a 3-year/100 000km warranty, with additional service and warranty extensions available.
