COVID-19: Eswatini records 28 positive cases out of 407 test results

Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has announced that out of 407 test results received by the health ministry only 28 came out positive, bring the total number of confirmed cases in Eswatini to 840.

In a Ministerial statement issued on Wednesday, the Minister reported that the number of recoveries in Eswatini has also increased to 418 as 10 patients were cleared and discharged on June 1.

According to the Minister’s statement Manzini has recorded 55.2% of the total cases in the country as there are 464 cases recorded from the region. The region that comes second with highest number of cases is Hhohho with 25.1% followed by Lubombo region with 10.2% and lastly be Shiselweni region with 9.4%.

The number of active cases in the country stands at 383.
