Nkosi encouraged people with pre-existing illnesses to do regular check ups at least once a year as most of the recently reported deaths had complications with their pre-existing diseases hence succumbed to COVID-19.

The Minister urged the public to continue observing the precautionary measures given by the ministry of health and World Health Organization, this includes regular washing of hands with running water and soap, practicing social distancing and wearing masks whenever one is going out.
