Harare – President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe received credentials from three newly appointed envoys at State House on Wednesday.

The ambassadors are H.E. Baltazar Diogo Cristovao from Angola, H.E. Karin Poulsen from Denmark, and H.E. Arif Hidayat from Indonesia. The diplomatic engagements mark a milestone in deepening cooperation between Zimbabwe and the three countries, creating opportunities across trade, investment, cultural exchange, and technology transfer.

Relations with Angola are expected to strengthen regional cooperation within SADC and foster collaboration in energy, agriculture, and infrastructure development. Denmark’s renewed engagement aims to support sustainable development, renewable energy partnerships, and initiatives in governance and innovation. Indonesia’s presence opens avenues in trade, education, and investment, particularly in agriculture and manufacturing, supporting mutually beneficial growth.
