Manzini – Shiselweni has been selected to host this year’s Miss Teen grand finale, a national event set to showcase the talents, intelligence, and cultural pride of young girls from across Eswatini.
Pageants Eswatini Chairman Tony Dlamini confirmed the development while announcing the top five contestants from the Manzini Region who advanced to the national stage. The young hopefuls are Angel Zubuko, Seluleko Masuku, Nonhle Kunene, Baganda Dube and Malivan Macu. Their selection followed the Manzini eliminations held on Saturday.
Dlamini described the eliminations as a success, pointing out that Manzini is the custodian of the Miss Teen crown. He said the chosen contestants will now face off with participants from other regions for the national title.

He added that the judging process was rigorous to ensure the selected finalists met the required standards. Dlamini also acknowledged the support from parents and sponsors in Manzini, while urging more partners to continue investing in the pageant. He further announced that all contestants are expected to join the Umhlanga regiment, with rehearsals scheduled to begin today.
The Miss Teen contest is viewed as a platform that goes beyond beauty, focusing on grooming young women into confident, responsible and culturally grounded individuals. Organisers say the event not only builds self-esteem but also nurtures future ambassadors of Eswatini’s heritage.
