Mbabane – MNS AGRI, co-founded by Siphelele Simelane and Nonduduzo Nxumalo, is strengthening the supply of farm inputs in the Hhohho Region. The enterprise, launched in May 2024 through the ESNAU/FINCLUDE Youth Step-Up Program, stocks essential agricultural products to support farmers’ productivity and food security.
The program helped MNS AGRI establish its shop, source quality commodities from trusted suppliers, and train in record keeping, financial literacy, group governance, and business management.
Though newly established, the business is already creating jobs, employing two permanent staff and up to 10 temporary workers during busy periods, offering young people in the area much-needed employment.
Siphelele Simelane said the aim is to ensure farmers have access to the right inputs at the right time, noting that thriving farmers benefit the wider community.
The ESNAU/FINCLUDE Youth Step-Up Program seeks to empower young entrepreneurs across the agricultural value chain, supporting sustainable businesses that contribute to rural development and economic growth.
