Mbabane: : Minister of Health Lizzy Nkosi has announced one (1) new confirmed COVID-19 case and three (1) recovery.
Nkosi revealed the update at the cabinet offices on Sunday when giving the status of COVID-19 in Eswatini.
Nkosi said the ministry received a total of 119 results, of which 118 tested negative and one tested positive. The total number of confirmed cases in Eswatini now stands at 203 and the new case reported on this date is a 37 year-old female from Manzini Region, she is asymptomatic.
Meanwhile the number of recoveries in Eswatini now stands at 73, while 63 are admitted at the hospital, 64 are under home care, and two deaths.
Nkosi urged adherence to public health measures by the public to slow down the spread of the coronavirus within the population. “Everyone has a responsibility in ensuring a slower spread of COVID-19” said Nkosi.
