Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzy Nkosi has announced an additional of three (3) new COVID-19 cases and 15 recoveries.
Nkosi made this announcement through a Ministerial statement issued on Friday.
The Ministry received 220 results, of which 217 tested negative and only three (3) came out positive.

Nkosi revealed that there has been an increase in the number of recoveries, 15 were discharged today, taking the number of recoveries to 66. Prior on May 14, the Minister said the increase in the number of recoveries is mainly due to the improvements done by the ministry of health as the laboratory capacity has increased and also the turn-around has improved as well.

The Minister said all of the results that came positive are from the Manzini region and this is affected by the lab results turn-around time, also new findings in contact tracing, screening, swab collection and sample transportation activities at regional and family levels.
The public is encouraged to continue with the precautionary measures given by the ministry of health, which include regular washing of hands with running water and soap, social distancing, wearing of musk when going out to places with more people.
