Mbabane: The Mbabane Mbuluzi Rotary Club in collaboration with the University of Eswatini, Mbabane Campus has donated ten washing hands stations to Mbabane Government Hospital.

It has been said that the Mbabane/Mbuluzi Rotary Club has pumped in more than thirty five thousand emalangeni in form of cash while the University of Eswatini Mbabane Campus contributed thirteenth thousand two hundred emalangeni (E13 200) in form of labor, bringing the total amount to fifty thousand five hundred and eighty six emalangeni twenty cents (E50 586.20).

The setup involves one forwarding one’s hands to the container which senses the hands and releases some drops of liquid soap. The user uses his to foot press the tap valve allowing the water to run, which process eliminates the touching of anything which would be contaminated. This would help to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus or any other virus. Speaking on behalf of the UNESWA Mbabane Campus Dr Tfwala said the structure is permanent and will serve the hospital beyond the pandemic period.

Dr Tfwala expressed her sincere gratitude for the kind gesture which the Mbabane/Mbuluzi Rotary Club and UNESWA has extended towards the biggest hospital in the country, saying the university has come a long way in its partnership with the club.
