SITEKI – South African Maskandi sensation Mthandeni is set to bring his electrifying performance to Siteki as he headlines the All White Party at Espinho Restaurant on Saturday, July 26.
The event marks the restaurant’s first anniversary and doubles as the second instalment of what organisers say will become an annual social gathering in the Lubombo town. Known for his blend of traditional rhythms and contemporary flair, Mthandeni has built a solid following across Southern Africa, especially among the Bhinxa nation.
Marketing Officer for Espinho, Themba Thwala, said the celebration will fuse fine dining, live performances, fashion, and family-friendly fun, all wrapped in an all-white theme that patrons have been asked to embrace.
“We are creating something that goes beyond entertainment. It’s a lifestyle experience that merges Eswatini’s hospitality with South African energy,” said Thwala.
Local artists will also take the stage alongside Mthandeni, while fashion stalls and curated food booths will complete the setup. To add star appeal, former Uzalo actor Kay Sibiya is among the expected guests, bringing a touch of celebrity glamour to the celebration.
Thwala said the inclusion of South African personalities is meant to draw regional attention to Siteki and position Espinho as a rising hub for lifestyle events in Eswatini. He believes events like this help foster cross-border friendships and partnerships while promoting cultural exchange.
“Our chefs are working on a menu that brings together our classic dishes with bold flavours and local ingredients. We want every guest to experience Espinho through all the senses,” he added.
Tickets are selling at E350 for general access, E550 for VIP, and E1 500 for VVIP
