Sikhuphe – Inkhosikati laZuma made a public appearance at King Mswati III International Airport on Saturday, where she was spotted among the delegation welcoming His Majesty King Mswati III back home from a working visit to Ghana and Spain.
Her presence comes after weeks of speculation over her whereabouts, with online reports from Sunday World suggesting she had parted ways with the monarch. The speculation grew due to her absence from recent royal events.
However, the Zuma family in South Africa dismissed the reports, stating that Inkhosikati laZuma had returned home to undergo kuyalwa, a traditional process that forms part of her preparation for full royal duties.
The King was received by members of the royal family, cabinet ministers, traditional authorities, and well-wishers who lined up at the airport to welcome him back. His international visit included engagements focused on diplomacy and investment.
