MBABANE – In a continued drive to empower Africa’s business talent, Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development (SBS-ED), in partnership with the Royal Eswatini Sugar (RES) Corporation Leadership Academy, is offering a series of certified short courses targeting high-potential staff across the continent.
The programmes are scheduled to run from June to September 2025 and will be delivered via live and interactive Zoom sessions.
The offerings include four key programmes: the Africa New Managers’ Development Programme, Africa Management Development Programme, Africa Senior Management Development Programme, and a Masterclass in Board Governance.
Each course varies in duration, from two days to 15 days spread across several months, and is designed to meet the developmental needs of professionals at different stages in their careers.
The Africa New Managers’ Development Programme kicks off on 14 July and 15 September. It introduces the foundational principles of management and leadership, emphasizing self-awareness and people management skills for emerging managers.
The Africa Management Development Programme, which begins on 23 June, 21 July, and 25 August, is tailored for middle managers. It focuses on enhancing managerial skills and cross-business integration through a 10-day, three-study block model over six months.
Senior professionals can enroll in the Africa Senior Management Development Programme starting 2 June and 8 September. Spanning 15 days over seven months, this course aims to tackle challenges in changing organizational contexts and enhance strategic thinking.
The two-day Masterclass in Board Governance, set for 17 and 18 September, is designed for professionals in leadership and governance. It covers best practices in board operations, including ESG integration and global benchmarking.
SBS-ED has also introduced a new face-to-face management development programme in Simunye, with further details to follow.
