Fifty young people graduated from the MTN-JA Entrepreneurship Programme held at Mpaka Vocational Training Centre on Wednesday, after completing intensive training in key areas of business development.
The programme, run by MTN Eswatini in collaboration with Junior Achievement Eswatini, equipped participants with practical knowledge in business planning, product development, marketing, financial literacy, SME regulations, and entrepreneurship fundamentals. Students also received mentorship to guide them in building sustainable ventures.
As part of the training, graduates were tasked with documenting their personal and business aspirations—an exercise aimed at helping them stay focused on their goals.
The initiative, supported by the MTN Foundation, has so far trained 360 students across the country since its inception.
Five top-performing graduates were each awarded E10,000 in seed funding to support the launch of their business ideas.
