JOHANNESBURG – Renowned gospel artist Rev. Benjamin Dube has formally stepped away from the Spirit of Praise collective, marking the end of a long-standing chapter in his music ministry.
The announcement was made on Monday, April 14, 2025, through a public statement issued by Dube Connection Enterprise. Rev. Dube described the decision as the result of deep prayer, reflection, and discussions with key figures in his life and ministry.
Spirit of Praise has played a significant role in Rev. Dube’s career, offering a platform that has amplified worship music and brought the gospel to audiences both in South Africa and abroad. His contributions have helped shape the collective’s identity and global reach over the years.
Rev. Dube now plans to channel his energy into growing his personal ministry, mentoring up-and-coming gospel musicians, and launching projects he believes are aligned with his current divine assignment.
He expressed sincere gratitude to the Spirit Music Group, Spirit of Praise team, and its founders, Aubrey Peacock and Matthew Nkabinde, for what he called a “fruitful partnership” built on mutual respect and shared purpose.
Rev. Dube remains committed to global ministry work, continuing to serve in ways that reflect his devotion to the Christian faith.
