Inkhosikati Make LaMashwama, patron of the Imbeleko Foundation, welcomed representatives from JA Eswatini on Thursday during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening their joint efforts to empower young women through entrepreneurship.
The collaboration between the Imbeleko Foundation and JA Eswatini has already trained and mentored 15 girls under Mpolonjeni eSiteki. These young women are now running their own small businesses. A second cohort is currently in progress, with applications now open across all five chiefdoms under the Inkhundla.
Make LaMashwama expressed satisfaction with the initiative’s impact so far, praising the structured reports shared by Zandile Nhleko of the Imbeleko Foundation. The reports reflected real progress on the ground and the success of the initial phase of the programme.
JA Eswatini founder Make Nokukhanya Gamedze expressed her gratitude for the royal support shown by Inkhosikati LaMashwama. She assured that the committed team at JA Eswatini is fully invested in ensuring the project’s success and continuity.
The delegation included JA Eswatini’s Executive Director Phetsile Masilela, Board Member Nomsa Magagula, and Communications and Marketing Specialist Siphesihle Mkhonta.
