The Kingdom of Eswatini has extended its condolences to Myanmar and Thailand following a devastating earthquake that has left over 1,600 people dead and hundreds still unaccounted for. The tremors, which shook Myanmar and reached neighboring Thailand, have caused widespread destruction and grief.
Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini, speaking on behalf of His Majesty King Mswati III, Her Majesty the Queen Mother, the government, and the people of Eswatini, conveyed deep sympathies to those who have lost loved ones and to those recovering from injuries.
Dlamini expressed Eswatini’s solidarity with the affected nations, offering thoughts and prayers for the victims and their families. He acknowledged the immense loss suffered by Myanmar and Thailand and wished for the swift recovery of those impacted by the disaster.
