MBABANE, March 22 – Eswatini’s Prime Minister, Russell Mmiso Dlamini, has returned from Namibia after representing King Mswati III at the inauguration of President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and the country’s 35th Independence Anniversary celebrations.
Accompanied by Public Service Minister Mabulala Maseko, who stood in for the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dlamini delivered a congratulatory message from the King to Namibia’s newly sworn-in leader. In response, President Nandi-Ndaitwah sent a message for King Mswati III through the Eswatini delegation.
Dlamini praised Namibia for its peaceful transition and commended the nation for electing a woman president, calling it a historic moment for both the country and the African continent. He described Nandi-Ndaitwah’s leadership as a testament to the growing role of women in shaping Africa’s political landscape.
