King Mswati III Unveils E15M Projects for Cooperatives

His Majesty King Mswati III has handed over projects worth E15 million to 12 cooperatives under Madlangempisi Inkhundla, funded through the Regional Development Fund (RDF). The projects include trucks, tractors, farming equipment, a feedlot, and animal feed, benefiting 1,600 emaSwati.

Speaking at the ceremony, the King praised the cooperatives for their sound financial management and efficiency. He cited one cooperative that earns around E44 million in annual dividends as an example of the sector’s success.

As part of the event, King Mswati III also announced plans to build 10 homes for elderly residents in Madlangempisi, with the initiative expected to extend across the country.
