MBABANE– The wait is almost over as the fifth annual Mount Zion Experience returns tomorrow, Friday, October 30, promising an overnight encounter of worship, prayer and spiritual rejuvenation at the Manzini Metropolitan Evangelical Church.
Organisers have turned up the excitement with an urgent message to gospel music lovers and worshippers, declaring that the highly anticipated gathering is no longer about counting down to the date, but preparing for the big day.
“Asisasho kutsi mhlaka 30, kepha sesitsi kusasa,” meaning they are no longer saying October 30, but rather that the event is tomorrow, the organisers announced in an enthusiastic social media post.
Running from 6pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday, the Mount Zion Experience will bring together gospel musicians, worship leaders and ministers for 12 hours of spiritual engagement through the Word, prayer, hymns, Psalms and spiritual songs.
The fifth edition is expected to attract worshippers seeking an opportunity to strengthen their faith and experience collective praise in an atmosphere dedicated to God.
The impressive line-up features Nothando Dlamini, Machawe Simelane, Nelly Siwela, Phinda Mnisi, Nosipho M, Frans Mkhaliphi, Shekinah, Blessing Dludlu and Phetsile Masilela.
They will be joined by Apostle SD Gumede, Nono Mavuso, Mcolisi Mhlanga, Musa Phakathi, Mzayoni Tsabedze, Oncemore Six, Reginald Jabu, Putuma Tiso, Sphiwo Ndoni, Mphotholozi, Tenele Mnisi, Takie Ndou, Rofhiwa Manyaga, Setsa M and Fakazi Samuel.
With general admission tickets already 70% sold, the organisers have encouraged those who have not secured their places to purchase tickets before heading to the venue.
General admission tickets are available online, while VIP tickets are priced at E450. Those who have not purchased tickets in advance can also access the event at the gate for E200.
Tickets can be purchased through Smart Ticket at www.SMARTTICKET.CO.ZA.
Adding to the occasion’s visual appeal is the All White Affair dress code, inviting attendees to embrace an all-white look for the overnight worship gathering.
As the final preparations get underway, the organisers have challenged attendees to prepare beyond their appearance and tickets, asking three questions: Is your ticket ready? Is your all-white outfit ready? Is your heart ready?
The questions capture the spiritual emphasis of the gathering, reminding worshippers that the experience is about more than attending an event; it is also about preparing themselves for a night of praise and fellowship.
