MBABANE – The Eswatini Kota Festival is bringing more than music, food and entertainment to Malkerns, with Jenny Internet Eswatini coming on board as the official Connectivity and Wi-Fi Partner for the highly anticipated festival.
The partnership is set to ensure that festival-goers remain connected throughout the day as they enjoy performances, food, family activities and the vibrant atmosphere expected at the inaugural Eswatini edition.
Scheduled for 24 October 2026, the festival will take place at Malkerns Country Club, running from 10am to 10pm under the theme “All White with a Touch of Yellow.”
With Jenny Internet providing connectivity support, attendees will have an opportunity to stay in touch with friends and family while capturing and sharing their favourite festival moments online.
The partnership adds a modern digital element to an event that is positioning itself as a major lifestyle and entertainment experience in the Kingdom.
The Kota Festival has already generated significant excitement with a star-studded line-up featuring South African music heavyweights Ringo Madlingozi, Emtee, Mlindo The Vocalist and MÖRDA. The combination of live music, the iconic kota street food experience and family-friendly entertainment is expected to attract patrons from across Eswatini and neighbouring countries.
Keeping the crowd entertained throughout the day will be three high-profile MCs: Somizi Mhlongo, Napo Modise and Asa D, who are expected to bring their own energy and personality to the festival stage.
Beyond the music, organisers are promising a complete family-day experience, combining comedy, entertainment, food, culture and fun under one roof.
The festival will feature a dedicated Kota Experience, showcasing flavours from both Eswatini and South Africa, alongside food and kota vendors. Families can also expect a kids’ entertainment area, making the event suitable for patrons of different ages.
Phase 1 tickets are currently available, with adults priced at E200, students at E150, children at E110 and VIP tickets at E800. The VIP package comes with added benefits including a kota, seating, free Wi-Fi and parking.
Patrons will also be able to bring empty cooler boxes, while secured parking will be available. Camp chairs are permitted for those who want to make themselves comfortable throughout the day.
However, organisers have issued a clear warning: no tickets will be sold at the gate. Festival-goers are therefore encouraged to purchase their tickets early to avoid missing out.
Tickets are available at MojaTicket outlets across Eswatini and Computicket outlets at Shoprite stores. Importantly, organisers have warned that no tickets will be sold at the gate, making advance purchase essential for those planning to attend.
Parking is priced at E50, while the festival will offer a full day of entertainment from morning until night.
As Jenny Internet takes its place at the heart of the festival’s connectivity experience, the partnership reinforces the event’s promise to deliver an experience that goes beyond the plate and stage.
