Berlin, Germany – The Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO), in partnership with Hotel 430 and Wilderness, hosted Botswana Night on the sidelines of ITB Berlin 2026, bringing together global tourism partners, investors, media, and industry stakeholders to celebrate and promote Destination Botswana.
The networking event offered a platform to strengthen international partnerships, create new business opportunities, and showcase Botswana’s unique tourism offerings to the global travel trade.
The event was attended by the Minister of Environment and Tourism, Hon. Wynter Boipuso Mmolotsi, who stated Botswana’s commitment to positioning itself as a premium, high-value tourism destination known for its pristine wilderness, abundant wildlife, and rich cultural heritage.

The Minister said the government will work closely with industry stakeholders to address tourism growth enablers, including improved air access, visa facilitation, and infrastructure development, as Botswana seeks to remain competitive globally.
He also invited the international community to explore Botswana’s attractions, such as the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park, Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Tsodilo Hills, and the Kgalagadi, while encouraging global partners to consider investment opportunities in the country’s growing tourism value chain.
