MBABANE – Honourable Minister of ICT, Savannah Maziya, received a delegation from Turkmenistan led by Mr. Abdurakhmanov Khydyrberdi Bayrammyradovich, Founder and Owner of Aydyn Gijeler Holding LTD, yesterday. The visit was facilitated by H.E. Thami Dlamini.

The engagement follows Minister Maziya’s trip to Turkmenistan during His Majesty King Mswati III’s State Visit last year, where she toured the company’s manufacturing plant specialising in ICT and electronics solutions.

Minister Maziya discussed Eswatini’s vision to become a hub of innovation in ICT, citing the Kingdom’s stability, peace, and enabling investment climate. She also reaffirmed government’s commitment to digital transformation, youth empowerment, and skills development.

She added: “We applaud His Majesty the King’s leadership and wisdom in fostering a secure and investor-friendly nation.”
