Mbabane – Locally owned protective clothing outlet Mbabane Trading Company (MTC) Pty Ltd is conducting a two-day activation at the Mbabane bus rank from Friday, December 19, to Saturday, December 20.
The MTC co-director and finance director, Thabo Kunene, invited members of the public to come see what they have in stock.
Speaking with Independent News, he revealed that the outreach takes place every last month of the year.
“So, we we currently having a marketing campaign at the Mbabane Bus Rank which will be running from today and tomorrow. So, we inviting all the Swazis to come through and support because this is a Swazi owned company that’s been running since 2017,” he said.
By drawing a crowd, it allows them to connect with potential clients.
He stated that they have chosen promotions for their extensive line of protective apparel where buyers would have easy access to them by visiting their stalls.
The shop, located at Unit 2 Riverside Est, Mbabane, stocks protective gear, motor vehicle equipment, and other parts and accessories, as well as cleaning supplies, and performs outreach in the last month of the year.
Kunene mentioned that, although they are a retail company offering a diverse range of manufacturing clothing and equipment – including ladders intended for electrical contractors and other general purposes – they aim to foster customer loyalty.
Among the best sellers are the Rebel Chelsea boots, which are usually priced around R1000 in some outlets but sell for R980.
“I’ve noticed that most Swazis are buying these boots, which are currently going for E980. That’s what is currently in style. That’s what is currently trending on the safety wear,” Kunene said. “So, we deal in protective clothing, cleaning materials and automotive components. I think if you are interested in any of those items, you can just pay us a visit or come to the Mbabane Bus Rank today and tomorrow only.”
