Mbabane – Popular performer Sindiso, proudly from the Gwebu family, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Eswatini for their unwavering support throughout his journey.
Speaking warmly, Sindiso reflected on the countless moments when Emaswati recognised and embraced him, whether on buses, at public spots such as I-City, or during performances across the country. He shared that even from a young age, the nation’s encouragement uplifted him. “Even when I was young, performing and doing my thing, people would say, ‘May the King bless you.’ I am here today because of the Swati people,” he said.
As he prepares for upcoming music releases and spiritual commemorations, Sindiso urged the public to continue supporting his work. He encouraged everyone to share his songs widely on the 14th, while he also plans to honour fellow artist Ayanda Maphosa on the 20th. In addition, he will participate in two wedding celebrations, one symbolic and one held in Lobamba.
Despite the growing attention around his music, Sindiso insisted he does not view himself as a celebrity. “I will keep repeating that I am not a celebrity. I am just a person like everyone else, and God has elevated me because of your prayers,” he said.
Sindiso also expressed gratitude to his home community of Lamgabhi, recognising their foundational role in shaping his path. He thanked mothers and supporters who follow and share his content on WhatsApp, describing their encouragement as a blessing.
He concluded with a call for unity among Emaswati, urging continued mutual support and shared success. “May all Swati people see me. Let us continue to support each other and wish for success. May the King bless you all. Amen.”
