The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has announced the opening of registrations for the 2025 National Trade Testing Scheme for Grades 1, 2, and 3. This initiative is designed for individuals seeking certification in skilled, semi-skilled, and highly skilled trades.
Interested candidates are invited to register at the Trade Testing Offices (D.I.V.T), located next to ECOT (SCOT) in Mbabane, from 08:30 am to 03:30 pm. Registration fees are E500 for Grade 3, E700 for Grade 2, and E900 for Grade 1. Applicants must present a certified copy of their trade test certificate (except for Grade 3), a certified copy of their ID, and one passport-sized photo.
The registration schedule is as follows:
- May 19, 2025: Electrical Wireman Grade
- May 20, 2025: Plumber Grade
- May 21, 2025: Welding Grade
- May 22, 2025: Motor Vehicle Mechanic & Block Layer/Plasterer
- May 23 & 26, 2025: Various trades, including Carpenter/Joiner, Wood Machinist, Cabinet Making, and more.
