Mbabane – Thulani Ginindza (40), who was wanted in connection with the murder of his wife, Princess ‘Nunu’ Johnson, was discovered dead and in a decomposed state, indicating that he had been dead for some time, according to the Royal Eswatini Police Service.
“The suspect, Thulani Ginindza of Motshane, who was wanted in connection with the murder of his wife on 02/01/2026, has been found dead in a decomposed state at the Motshane area in a forest,” the police posted on Facebook.
He is thought to have hanged himself after being wanted by police for the murder of his wife, Johnson. Johnson departed their marriage in March 2025 due to unsolved concerns.

Police have not revealed much about Ginindza’s motive, but reports indicate that he persuaded one of their children to call their mother and say that their youngest sibling was unwell. When she arrived, she reportedly fell into a trap. Ginidza apparently followed her inside the house. Moments later, the children allegedly heard a heated dispute and screamed out for aid. One of them dashed to a nearby spaza business to inform residents. By the time residents arrived, Princess Nunu Johnson had been stabbed over 16 times, her throat had been slashed, and Ginindza had fled the scene.
Meanwhile, the Johnson family had announced that she will be laid to rest in her parental home at KaMfishane, Hlathikhulu, in the Shiselweni region this Saturday.
