Manzini – A E3 million winner takes-all lotto jackpot has been announced by the Eswatini Lottery (Pty) Ltd ahead of it launch, the company said in a statement.

“We are excited to share that our launch will be marked by the announcement of the E3 million winner takes all, setting the stage for the grand introduction of our national lottery to the masses,” company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sandlane Zwane said.

The company was awarded a 10-year operating licence by the Eswatini Gaming Control Board on June 12 with a renewal option. Zwane said operations are expected to begin within three to four weeks with ticket prices to start from E3 and E5.

Zwane added that the lottery features a variety of games. This includes:

  • Lotto 6/45 – where players can select six numbers from a pool of one to 45 for a chance to win millions of Emalangeni every Saturday at 8pm. With tickets priced at just E5, this flagship game is set to create Eswatini’s first big jackpot winners.

Again, the odds feature up to one winner in five tickets played, depending on the pool size.

  • POWERBALL – To choose five numbers and an additional Powerball for the opportunity to win rolling jackpots every Wednesday at 8pm. Tickets are priced at E5 and prizes will range from life-changing jackpots to life-enhancing prizes.
  • PICK 3 – Played for only E3 for a chance to win up to E1 500 by matching three digits. Draws will be done four times per day and on a daily basis, giving players multiple chances to win.
  • INSTANT GAME – Select 10 numbers and let the system pick one. If the system-generated selected numbers match, you win! Odds are one winner in five tickets played (depending on pool size).
