Pastor Sikhumbuzo shoots man to death, hospitalized

Sikhumbuzo Shongwe

Manzini – Pastor Sikhumbuzo Shongwe of the All Nations Church in Zion and son of Bishop Nash the leader of Divine Healing Ministries has died. Shongwe died from gunshot wounds after he was shot by police when they attempted to arrest him.

Shongwe was arrested after he shot Zwelithini Tsabedze to death on the evening of January 26, 2022. He was facing an additional murder related sentence having violated his bail conditions following the attempted murder charge that he has after shooting and injuring his estranged wife.

Shongwe is reported to have shot Tsabedze multiple times including shots to the head. Tsabedze who is a businessman is suspected to be the lover of Shongwe’s wife and the two men have a history of altercations as a result of this situation.

Sikhumbuzo Shongwe had claimed that he shot Tsabedze in self defence after he walked up to him at dusk in a voice clip that had been making rounds in social media. He said that he had suspected that Tsabedze wanted to kill him and in reaction he shot him several times.

Sikhumbuzo Shongwe’s death has been confirmed by his father Bishop Nash Shongwe who says his son passed away around midday.
