Mbabane – Banele Ngobe is Nsingizini Hotspurs new Chief Executive Officer.
The post was advertised about two months ago and after crystal clear interviews, club President Derrick Shiba has announced the appointment of Ngobe with immediate effect. Ngobe has been working very closely with the club for a number of years behind the scenes and brings with him a wealth of experience in management and administrative areas.
“This is an exceptionally important role to fill at the club given the volume of work and challenges that need addressing going forward, and indeed Ngobe will be a major asset in ensuring the business develops and that we role out our plans to engage more fully with fans and sponsors at all levels,” Shiba said in a club statement.
“I very much look forward to working with him. He will take some of my day-to-day responsibilities which will allow me to focus on the bigger picture in taking the club forward. On behalf of everyone connected to the club I’d like to welcome Mr Ngobe and wish him every success in his new role.”
The Shoiselweni-based side are entering only their second season in topflight football after a fired-up debut campaign which saw them bag the inaugural MoMo Cup and finishing a decent sixth position in the MTN Premier League.
Meanwhile, the club has appointed Ghanaian defender Pius Baffour Awauh as captain. Baffour will be assisted by Meshack Lushaba and Ncamiso Tfwala.
