Former Black Swallows CEO re-joins Manzini Wanderers in New Look MC
  • The Manzini football giants have announced a new look Management Committee
  • Coaches have worked with lot of teams and have traceable records
  • The team also announced a new look National Supporters Committee

Manzini-Former Piggs-Peak Black Swallows CEO Vusi Thomo has returned to his former team Manzini Wanderers as Legal Advisor and Human Resources Manager. This is the position that he held before his stint at Black Swallows.

Manzini Wanderers long serving official Sandile “Chief” Dlamini confirmed the return of Thomo to the Manzini soccer power house, “Yes, Thomo is back with the team as you know that Thomo is not new to the team “said Dlamini.

The Manzini football giants have also announced a new look Management Committee led by their former Acting Chairman Mlungisi Ndzinisa. Ndzinisa will now serve as the team General Manager or Public Affairs Manager.

The teams new General Mananger, Mlungisi “Maluga”Ndzinisa also announced the appointment of two new interim coaches for the team in Mduduzi “Nyama”Shongwe and Mduduzi“Sikhalo”Nxumalo who have replaced the departed former coaches Velekhaya Mthethwa and Terisayi Changara . Mthethwa and Changara led the team to a top six position on the MTN log.

When introducing the coaches, Nzinisa said “these coaches have worked with lot of teams and have traceable records, they are also good with youngsters as everyone knows the culture of the team is to groom young talent. We believed they have all that it takes to take the team to greater heights.”

 Ndzinisa made the announcement of the duo during their first pre-season training where over sixteen players were in attendance in readiness of the new season and the Bible Society Cup. The team is expected to participate in the one-day tournament which will fixture four teams, these being Mbabane Highlanders, Moneni Pirates, Manzini Sundowns and Manzini Wanderers.

Treasurer – Sanele “B” Zwane

Logistics Manager- Nkhululeko Mthimkhulu

Chief Security Officer-Sanele Siyaya

The team also announced a new look National Supporters Committee being chaired by Xolo Dlamini and assisted by Mandla Khumalo. Sizwe “Motaung “Shongwe is the Secretary and Sicelo Mkhabela holds the post of Treasurer while the members are Bongane Sikhondze and Mthokozisi Nhleko.
