Mbabane: Eswatini’s only CAF representatives Young Buffaloes FC left the country for their trip to Tunisia where they are going to honor their CAF Confederations Cup play offs return match against Etoil Du Sahel, though the it has not been clear to when the match will be played.

Young Buffaloes were turned back twice at the Oliver Tambo International Airport after they were denied entry to Tunisia. Young Buffaloes left the country Sunday, February 21 afternoon by road and connect a flight in South Africa at around 6; 30 pm using the Qatar Airways. The Army side are expected to reach Tunisia Monday afternoon and their trip will go via Doha Qatar.

The Army side last week travelled with a depleted squad and now the Army side have been boosted by the return of three of their key players in captain and goalkeeper Nhlanhla Gwebu, Lindo Mkhonta, and striker Phiwa Dlamini. The Army side left the country without their head coach Sabelo Mnisi and they will be led by Friday Myeni.

Sonnyboy Mabuza confirmed that the team are on the way to host their return fixture. Buffaloes need to win the game in all coast with a score of not less than 2 goals as they suffered a 2-1 loss to the Tunisian side. If Buffaloes win they will then qualify for the group stages and they will also earn  about E4 million in cash.
