Mbabane: The Army side coach Sabelo Mnisi is not taking the Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel lightly as he said the Tunisian side is not as easy as some people may think.
Speaking to the Independent News sports desk said their opponent is a respected team in the continent with a rich history in the CAF tournament. Buffaloes, who are the country’s representatives in the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) inter-club competition, participated in the Champions League before they were relegated to the Confederations Cup play offs where they will be playing Tunisian side Etoil du Sahel. The winner of the two leg tie will go through to the group stages which is the last 16.
“It will be a tough match as Etoil is the best side with a good run in the tournament,” Mnisi. The game will be a tough mountain to climb but we are ready for them.
Further on Mnisi stated that they started training this week after government gave them the green light to start preparing themselves. Mnisi said their aim in this game is to clinch a win and they will go all out to achieve that goal.
The first leg of the two leg fixture will be played at the Mavuso Sports Ground on February 14 while the second leg will be on February 21, in Tunisia.
