Mbabane: Because of COVID-19, there are no enough flights in the continent, something that has delayed Young Buffaloes return to the country from their Total CAF Champions League adventure.
The army side on returned from Burundi on Thursday afternoon, leaving them with just 48 hours to prepare for Sunday’s eagerly awaited MTN League opener against Mbabane Swallows. Buffaloes are through to the first round of the Total CAF Champions League on away goal rule against Burundi’s Le Messager and will now face Democratic Republic of Congo giants AS Vita Club on 20-23 December 2020 (first leg) and 5-6 January 2021 (second leg).

The MTN Premier League and MTN First Division return to action this weekend for the first time since March. Buffaloes who were announced champions after the previous season was cancelled visit seven time league champions at Mavuso Sports Centre with the hub derby between Denver Sundowns and Manzini Wanderers as the curtain raiser.
Mbabane Highlanders who are searching for their first league crown since 2001 have a date with Royal Leopard at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium in Nhlangano among some of matches to look out for in the first week.
