Mbabane – Former Sihlangu Semnikati and Green Mamba striker Musa Dlamini is lucky to be alive after surviving a car crash on Sunday afternoon at Phuzumoya after crashing on another car.
This is the second accident for the former Mbabane Swallows goal poacher within a space of six months after he was alledgelly involve in a car high-jack in Fairview. Our impeccable source revealed that Dlamini was traveling from his home, after attending his father’s funeral when the accident happened.
He was lucky to escape with minor injuries. Dlamini’s car and the other one were both written off, said the source. When sought for comment Green Mamba CEO Mandla Sibiya confirmed the accident, saying the player survived the accident but was not admitted in hospital. “The player told us that he was involved in a car crash and assured us that he will be part of the team when we meet on Monday November 23,” said Sibiya, adding that they started their pre-season training over the past three weeks. He promised their suppoters that by the time the season begins the team will be ready for the task ahead of them.
