Mbabane: The nations pride, Sihlangu Semnikati is expected to report for full time camp from Thursday, in preparation for the 2021 AFCON qualifier against Congo Brazaville.
The game will be played on November 12 and the return match would be played at Mavuso Sports Ground.
This was announced by Eswatini Football Association (EFA) CEO Federick Mngomezulu during a press conference that was held at Sigwaca on Tuesday.
Mngomezulu further said Sitsebe Samhlekazi will also continue to partake in the COSAFA women’s tournament. Mngomezulu revealed that they will jet out of the country to, Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where it will be participating in the week-long COSAFA Women’s League.
On another note, Mngomezulu assured football fans that Swazi Telecom Charity Cup will start once government has opened the lower divisions (Super League and Regional Leagues).
He went on to disclose that the kickoff date for the Priemier League would be November 20, 2hile First Division will start on November 27, 2020.
On November 20, Mngomezulu announced that teams from Hhohho and Shiselweni which qualified for the playoffs would also be playing.
Pertaining players registration, the EFA CEO said, the first window period would be opened from October 26 and will close on January 15, 2021, for Premier League and First Division. The second window period would be opened from April 1 to April 24 for all divisions.
